The focus of the project work is a cooperation on an equal footing with the local partners as well as a continuous transfer of knowledge in order to guarantee sustainability and independence. The successful implementation of the project is particularly possible thanks to the close contact with the people on site. Move-ING not only supports the local project partners financially, but also uses engineering knowledge to plan sustainable and innovative project ideas and to implement them on site together with local craftsmen and workers. The association follows the principle of “helping people to help themselves” and takes action where the local people are no longer able to implement project ideas in a sustainable manner. This is to prevent personal initiative from being undermined or jobs being lost to the association.

Of course, all club members work voluntarily for Move-ING. All administrative costs, such as the server costs for this homepage or the printing and shipping costs of donation receipts or funding applications have so far been paid privately, so that 100% of the money donated goes to project work.
