Martina
Treasurer
My name is Martina Klein and I am the treasurer of Move-ING. Since I took over the banking business of my late husband and that of my parents in 2016, I gladly took over this office in the association at the request of Kathi and Felix.
During my visit to Chabalisa in 2018, I had the opportunity to get to know the project and our local project partners. I have seen how donations are put to good use on site and what new opportunities the project opens up. I also did not miss the opportunity to actively help with the construction work and was thus able to follow the action on the construction site directly. It is nice to know how you can achieve great things with "Little".
We appreciate every little donation and for the trust in us and our work. It was only thanks to the great support of many friends and donors that the project could grow so quickly.
Max
Secretary
My name is Max and I am a founding member and secretary of Move-ING e.V. I am currently working as a doctoral student at the University of Siegen, where I am in the field of analytical chemistry. As a brother of Kathi, I have been in contact with development cooperation in East Africa for a long time and I also do voluntary work in Germany, it was natural for me to get involved with Move-ING. The proximity to Kathi and Felix and the associated transparency are particularly relevant to me.
I am a friend of the concept of help for self-help, which we implement excellently with our association work. We bring technical progress to the project regions and ensure the permanent operation of the systems through sensible training of the people on site. As can be seen in other projects, this is not always a matter of course and complex systems often only work for a certain amount of time and then go to waste due to a lack of know-how.
As an analytical chemist, I am aware of the importance of fundamental things such as clean and germ-free water and stable food and therefore nutrient supply. I find the use of modern photovoltaic systems for power supply and UV radiation for water treatment very good. The implementation of our projects shows how even such remote locations can benefit from technical innovations and thereby be supported in a subsistence-economic way. I hope that appropriate advanced systems will continue to find their way into everyday life in remote East African areas in order to improve the quality of life there. As we keep up with the times, I can therefore continue to support our association work with a clear conscience.

Infrastructures such as running water, electricity and education, which have always been familiar to us in everyday life and have become indispensable, have so far remained the basic needs of many people around the world. These are the basis for people to live a self-determined life. Here I would like to make a contribution and offer a helping hand to those who need support to realize their own dreams and visions.
My fascination with communities in other countries, wanting to understand their culture and way of life, motivates me to want to work with these people every day.
I share the attitude of questioning myself and my behavior in order to always find eye-to-eye with our partners and to balance the roles in our joint action. It is my goal to promote initiative and to implement the ideas of our partners: sustainable, self-determined and gaining experience.
In 2017 I got to know Felix through a university group for technical development cooperation. Felix initiated a project in Ethiopia, which primarily focused on the construction of photovoltaic wells. A bond developed from the time together and the desire to work together on our shared visions even after completing their studies.
